Doordarshan – The Desi Nostalgia, a theme which took everybody on a nostalgic journey into the era where Doordarshan channel was the only entertainment on television. In present times also Doordarshan has maintained its simplicity and charm.
Coast Guard Public School – Kindergarten represented the golden era through its Annual Function. Annual Function 2022 of Coast Guard Public School – Kindergarten was held on 21st September 2022 at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium. The occasion was graced by Mrs. Preeti Bajpai, President Tatrakshika, Daman as the Chief Guest and Chairman, CGPS Deputy Inspector General S.S.N. Bajpai as the Guest of Honour. The presence of many more dignitaries including SMC members made the programme more motivating.
The events of the function were based on the programmes that used to be broadcasted on Doordarshan channel and are still in everybody memories like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Malgudi Days, Chitrahaar etc. Also promotional songs and advertisements were included like Amul Doodh, Ek chidiya, anek chidiya and Mile sur mera tumhara. A skit, “The Tree of Unity” based on promotional video for unity was enacted.
The programme ended with prize distribution of many competitions held for the children.
