Principal

The post of Principal shall be filled by direct recruitment/promotion. No member of the staff shall have any right to be appointed to the post of Principal merely by virtue of seniority. Qualified members of the staff shall, however, be eligible to apply for the post as and when a vacancy is advertised and goes through the prescribed channels of recruitment. The minimum qualifications required shall be as follows:

Category A.

  (a) Master’s Degree from a recognized University in one of the teaching subject.

  (b) Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Teaching

  (c) Upper age limit 45 years.

 (d) Experience as required under anyone of the following clauses:

• At least 3 years experience of administrative charge of a recognised College having Intermediate or higher classes.
• At least 5 years experience of administrative charge of a recognised High School.
• At least 5 years experience of teaching in a recognised college or Higher Secondary School or an equivalent teaching experience in a Teachers Training Institute.
• At least 8 years teaching experience in a recognised High School.
• At least 5 years experience including 3 years educational administrative experience and 2 years teaching experience in a recognised High or Higher Secondary School or a Teachers Training Institute.

OR

Category B. Bachelor of Engineering with 5 years teaching experience in a recognised College or Hr. Sec. School.

OR

Category C. Trained Graduate Heads of recognised High Schools who have attained the age of 45 years and possess at least 15 years teaching experience of Secondary classes in a recognized High/Higher Secondary School (including at least 5 years administrative experience as Head of a recognised High School.)

OR

Category D. Persons possessing Masters Degree with at least 15 years teaching experience in a recognized Higher Secondary School and/or a recognised college having attained the age of 45 years.

OR

Category E. Persons possessing Masters Degree in Education and having the requisite experience as provided for in anyone of the forgoing clauses A to D.

Note: Five or more categories of experiences can be proportionately combined.

2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).

• Master Degree /Equivalent PGD in the subject.
• A recognized degree in education
• Preferably 3 years teaching experience.

3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT).

• Graduate in the subject.
• A recognized degree in education
• Preferably 3 years experience

4. Primary Teacher (PRT).

• Graduate in the subject.
• A recognized degree in education
• Preferably 3 years experience

5. Drawing and Painting Teacher. Graduate with drawing and painting/Art/Fine Art with minimum two years full time diploma from a recognized institute.

OR

Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Senior Secondary Examination with minimum 4 years full time diploma from recognized institute.

6. Craft Teacher.

• Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Senior Secondary Examination with diploma or National Certificate in the Subject.
• 3 years post SSC full time training from a recognized institute.
• Preferably Degree in Home Science in Fashion Designing for SUPW for girls.
• Preferably Diploma in electrical/electronics for SUPW for boys.

7. Music Teacher. Graduate in Music from a recognized University OR Higher Secondary with any one of the combinations specified in the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws.

8. Physical Education Teacher.

• Graduate in Physical Education from a recognized institute.
• Preferably 2 years experience.

9. Introductory Computer Science Teacher.

• Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
• Three months full time or six months part time computer course from a recognized Institute.

10. Librarian

• Graduate with Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University.
• Preferably 1 year experience.

11. Junior Librarian /Library Assistant.

• Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Senior Secondary Exam in Arts /Book keeping/Diploma in Library Science.
• Preferably 1 year experience.

12. Lab Assistant.

• Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Senior Secondary Exam appropriate Science Subject.
• Preferably 1 year experience.

13. Office Assistants.

• Accountant-cum-Head Clerk
  • (i) Graduate in Commerce
  • (ii) Preferably 1 year experience
• UDC
  • (i) Graduate in Art, Science or Commerce with knowledge of shorthand and typing with experience in correspondence, keeping of files and other office work.
  • (ii) Good knowledge of English.
• LDC
  • (i) Higher Secondary/Senior secondary/Intermediate with proficiency in typing./li>
  • (ii) Good knowledge of English.

14. Peon

• VIII standard or equivalent.
• Below 30 years of age.

15. Mali-cum-Peon

• V standard or equivalent
• Age below 30 years..

16. Sahayika-cum-sweeper

• No formal qualifications
• Below 30 years of age.

18. Casual Labourers. As required.
